En 2016 Ingrid Paola Amaro faisait une recherche sur notre relation à la nature. Assez vite, elle décerna que cette relation repose autour du concept de « protection de la nature ». La nature est régit en majorité par le système capitaliste. Alors on la détruit en même temps qu’on la sacralise.
Pour comprendre les méandres de la protection de la nature, Ingrid Paola Amaro, a infiltré un jardin botanique pendant 11 mois entre 2016 et 2017 : les Serres d’Auteuil à Paris. Le jardin botanique porte en lui les stigmates de la colonisation et la maîtrise en tout point de l’Homme sur la nature.
En octobre 2016 les serres ont été détruites pour construire le cour d’honneur de Roland Garros.

In 2016 Ingrid Paola Amaro was researching our relationship with nature. Soon enough, she awarded this relationship around the concept of “nature protection”. The majority of nature is governed by the capitalist system. So we destroy it at the same time as we sanctify it.
To understand the intricacies of nature protection, Ingrid Paola Amaro, infiltrated a botanical garden for 11 months between 2016 and 2017: the Serres d'Auteuil in Paris. The botanical garden brings within itself the scars of colonization and human control in every way over nature.
In October 2016 the greenhouses were destroyed to build the main courtyard of Roland Garros.

En 2016 Ingrid Paola Amaro estaba investigando nuestra relación con la naturaleza. Muy pronto, destacó el concepto de “protección de la naturaleza”. La mayor parte de la naturaleza está gobernada por el sistema capitalista. Así que lo destruimos al mismo tiempo que lo santificamos.
Para comprender las complejidades de la protección de la naturaleza, Ingrid Paola Amaro, se infiltró en un jardín botánico durante 11 meses entre 2016 y 2017: las Serres d'Auteuil en París. El jardín botánico lleva en sí mismo las cicatrices de la colonización y el control humano en todos los sentidos sobre la naturaleza.
En octubre de 2016 se destruyeron los invernaderos para construir el patio principal de Roland Garros.
