Le Floral Prevention Office [1] existe depuis 2012. En 2011, la recherche autour du Sophora toromiro démarre alors pour Ingrid Paola Amaro, lorsque dans un programme télévisé (Silence ça pousse) parle d’un arbre disparu de l’Île de Pâques. Ils montraient le spécimen qui survivait à Menton (sud de la France) et qui serait la plante mère pour une réintroduction. L’histoire la fascina et démarrait immédiatement sa recherche. Pendant toute la nuit elle découvrit des histoires d’aventuriers, des données biologiques et botanistes... Toutes les découvertes étaient occidentales.
Le Sophora toromiro, endémique de l’île, a fait l’objet de plusieurs programmes de réintroduction. Toutes ont échouées.
L’objectif était de créer un documentaire et de filmer sa réintroduction. Trois maisons de productions avaient suivi le projet d’Ingrid. Cela ne se fit jamais. Alors Ingrid demanda à l’esprit de l’arbre que pouvait-elle faire pour partager l’histoire et quel serait l’angle diffèrent de son analyse ?
Ainsi elle créa un bureau le Floral Prevention Office, un peu sur le ton sarcastique de « il fallait y penser avant ». Mais soyons le plus prévenants possible.
Le bureau non-officiel prend place dans les lieux publics où l’artiste se met en vis-à-vis d’un interlocuteur avec lequel elle partage l’histoire du Sophora toromiro pour conclure par une problématique sur la manière de protéger la nature.
Un site-œuvre existe avec quelques archives de la recherche et des œuvres qui sont nées de cette recherche.
Avec le Floral Prevention Office Ingrid réfléchit au concept de Contre-Nature, une suite contemporaine au Manifeste de Rio Negro de Pierre Restany.

In 2011, research around Sophora toromiro began for Ingrid Paola Amaro, when in a television program (Silence, it grows) speaks of a tree that has disappeared from Easter Island. The goal was to create a documentary and film its reintroduction. Three production houses had followed Ingrid’s project. It never happened. So Ingrid asked the Tree Spirit what could she do to share the story and what would be the different angle of her analysis?
So she created an office, the Floral Prevention Office, a bit on the sarcastic tone of "you had to think about it before". But let's be as considerate as possible.
The unofficial office takes place in public places where the artist confronts an interlocutor with whom she shares the story of Sophora toromiro to conclude with an issue of how to protect nature.

With the Floral Prevention Office Ingrid reflects on the concept of Contre-Nature, a contemporary sequel to the Rio Negro Manifesto by Pierre Restany.
[ES] La Floral Prevention Office existe desde 2012. En 2011 se inició una investigación en torno a Sophora toromiro para Ingrid Paola Amaro, cuando en un programa de televisión (Silence ça pousse) se habla de un árbol que ha desaparecido de Isla de Pascua. Mostraron el espécimen que sobrevivió en Menton (sur de Francia) y que sería la planta madre para una reintroducción. La historia la fascinó e inmediatamente inició su investigación. A lo largo de la noche descubrió historias de aventuras, datos biológicos y botánicos ... Todos los descubrimientos fueron occidentales.
La endémica Sophora toromiro de la isla ha sido objeto de varios programas de reintroducción. Todos han fallado.
El objetivo era crear un documental y filmar su reintroducción. Tres casas de producción habían seguido el proyecto de Ingrid. Nunca sucedió. Entonces Ingrid le preguntó al Espíritu del Árbol qué podía hacer para compartir la historia y cuál sería el ángulo diferente de su análisis.
